York Opera is York’s leading amateur opera company. For sixty years we have brought  operas, operettas and other music to the stage, giving amateur singers the opportunity to sing the world's greatest music on stage with full orchestra.  Our soloists are from Yorkshire and further afield and are carefully auditioned but our chorus is open to anyone who wants to sing with us!
